Administrative HistoryThe specimen, now BM (NH) p.4123, is the holotype of Palaeorhynchus latum, having been described and figured by Agassiz in his 'Recherches...' (1833-1844), vol 5, pl 32. It is now referred to as Palaeorhynchus glarisianus Blainville.
