Description	Murchison correspondence: letter from Rev William Henry CARTWRIGHT, Vicarage, Dudley, 15 Dec 1841. Re: invites Murchison to address the inaugural meeting of the Dudley and Midland Geological Society.
Administrative History	The Dudley and Midland Geological Society was founded in 1842. Cartwright became one of the first Vice-Presidents of the new Society.
