DescriptionMurchison correspondence: letter from Hugh FALCONER, London, 24 Apr [1847]. Re: returning his comments on Murchison's introduction to the paper by Nathaniel Vicary, sent Lt Blagrave a large series of Eocene and nummulitic fossils 18 months prior which Sowerby is arranging some of which may explain Vicary's terminology; has fossils which prove the extension of the nummulitic formations northwards.
