Re: Will have the mining plans and diagrams Murchison requested copied for the Museum of Practical Geology and will arrange for specimens of foliated tellurium to be sent from the coal mines; lists the publications sent to his geological institute by Murchison with thanks, pursuing the plans to set up a geographical society in Vienna; has been elected a Correspondent of the Paris Academy after De la Beche's death, was elected over Adam Sedgwick; preparing copies of his maps for the Museum of Practical Geology. |
