Re: Hochstetter's safe arrival in Vienna, had been in Australia and New Zealand for the previous 9 months resulting in an immense store of scientific information, thanks Murchison for providing Hochstetter with letters of introduction; Hochstetter has been created a Knight of the Imperial Order of the Iron Crown; Hochstetter brought with him a nearly perfect skeleton of Dinoris ingens; work beginning on the published results of the Novara expedition. |
