DescriptionMurchison correspondence: letter from John Stevens HENSLOW, Cambridge, 11 Apr 1832. Re: Murchison's Presidential Address, impertinently asks if Murchison would look into see what has happened to his order for Lindley's 'Fossil Flora' which he subscribed for through the Society, presumes the new part of the Transactions will arrive soon; wants to know if Mrs Murchison has 'applied for the fossil woods' as he would like them for his lectures which begin in May; plans on spending the summer at Weymouth reacquainting himself with geology; Dr & Mrs Somerville visiting Adam Sedgwick; PS has sent instructions to Cary regarding a ?clinometer for Adam Sedgwick.
