DescriptionMurchison correspondence: letter from Leonard HORNER, Manchester, 15 Mar 1845. Re: Hopes Murchison will confer with Hamilton as they live quite near each other, on the issues about Society publications caused by Henry Warburton's pedantic adherence to laws and rules which he systematically disregarded during his reign as President; suggests Murchison should use the next meeting of Council to push through the publication of Hopkins's paper, Forbes' report on the Pondicherry fossils and Owen's on the Dycnodon which means the copy of the journal will be ready for the BA meeting in June; asks Murchison to send Ansted ?Mackie's paper to be forwarded onto the author for revisions; requests copy of Murchison's second Presidential address.
