DescriptionMurchison correspondence: letter from Rev Robert HALIFAX, Standish, near Gloucester, 23 Apr 1832. Re: His friend Buckland informs him that Murchison is in Cheltenham to examine the Oolite escarpments and wishes to see those near his house, will gladly host Murchison but being elderly cannot walk very far; recommends where to see the best examples of Oolite beds in the area; position of the Fullers earth does not agree with Conybeare's assertion.
