DescriptionMurchison correspondence: letter from Joseph Beete JUKES, Dublin, Ireland, 23 Sep 1867. Re: forwards Murchison a letter from Dr Sydney, the newly appointed secretary to the proposed College of Science, who wishes to carry out alterations to the Museum; will yield to whatever 'King Cole' decrees Murchison to do, but would like to put up a fight, and will not resign his professorship and if he is dismissed he will make it a 'very unpleasant business for them'.
