Re: forwards a letter and prospectus from Louis Agassiz who is working on a memoir on fossil fish; working on the last few chapters of his book [3rd vol of Principles], would find it impossible to 'make his theory like an abstract'; has pledged to lecture at both King's College London and the Royal Institution; development of Lyell's ideas whilst lecturing at KCL.
Administrative HistoryJean Louis Rudolphe Agassiz's memoir would become 'Recherches sur les Poissons Fossiles' (1833-1843/1844).
