Re: has left Wareham as the local landowners were restricting Miles' research into 'coal money'; has had the recent pleasure of meeting Mr Conybeare; has asked his friend Mr Witt who owns the 'subterranean forest' to send him examples of fossilised wood, with a description of the forest; Miles' poor annual income, asks if Murchison can find him some 'berth to remove the torture of anxiety'.
