Re: describing fossil teeth left with him by Murchison for comparison with fossil quadrupeds held in Paris, and a long and detailed summary of Monsieur Deshayes's recent communication to La Société Géologique de France on the geological distribution of invertebrate fossil animals, and a new classification of the Tertiary formations into three distinct groups based on the fossils they contained [more famously suggested by Charles Lyell].
