DescriptionMurchison correspondence: letter from Joshua Trimmer, Baladenlyn, Caernarvon, 24 Dec 1835. Re: Recalls Murchison informing him of a difference in views between Trimmer and Dr Dugard [?Thomas Du Gard] of the origin of the trees found under the shelly gravel at Shrewsbury, was planning on being introduced to Dugard when next in the area in order to discuss the matter but has found out that Murchison has already beat him to it and that his 'fir tree' as been assigned as the result of Roman engineering, concerned about the return of his bag which Murchison found.
