| Administrative History | The landslip was caused by heavy rain and led to the expansion of Gohna Lake which eventually burst the local dam on the night of 25 August 1894. There were attempts to counteract the rising water of Gohna lake, such as dismantling bridges and cutting channels to relieve the build up of the water, some images of which are included in the series. |
