Description | Letter from William Henry FITTON, London, to George Bellas Greenough, 10 Mar 1829. Re: Progress in arranging the specimens of the Geological Society museum, is therefore keen to present an 'extensive collection of specimens of the beds from the Chalk down to the Portland'; working on a connected paper; ?papers on India given to him by a Miss Carter (now Mrs W Morre?) but which were prevented from being read by her mother. |
