DescriptionLetter from Leonard HORNER, London, to George Bellas Greenough, 3 Jan 1830. Re: [reply to previous letter] Couldn't meet Greenough for breakfast as he overslept and the weather was bad; has investigated the issue at Council which Greenough took offence, but assures him that it would have been unintentional, but the issue was made more difficult by the letter Greenough insisted be tabled at Council.
Administrative HistoryThe issue seems to relate to Greenough's supervision of the Museum collection prior to the appointment of the new curator William Lonsdale.
