DescriptionLetter from William Venables VERNON [later William Venables Vernon Harcourt], London, to George Bellas Greenough, [1828-1831]. Re: Has finally had time to look at the Yorkshire sheets of Greenough's map he is responsible for and has also shown them to John Phillips, suggests that William Smith has much information in his possession on the subject but is slow in making it public, recommends consulting Smith's County maps of Yorkshire and Westmorland.
