DescriptionFive quarto notebooks, loosely placed in an old vellum binding, of bibliographic notes on published sources on the subject of: 'Theories of the Earth'; 'Geological parts of Astronomy'; Particular parts of mineralogy, 'Particular Minerals - Rocks & Metals'; 'Particular Minerals' and 'Deluge Organic Remains', collated by George Bellas GREENOUGH, [1808-1810]. At the front is a part of a letter from an unknown author [possibly William Buckland], listing books of fossils which were lent to him by Dr Parry of Bath which Greenough showed an interest in.
