DescriptionGeological colouring around the Midlothian and East Lothian areas of Scotland probably by George Bellas Greenough, with key, [1839-1852], on base map 'Scotland I', engraved by J & C Walker, published by Baldwin & Cradock, under Society for the Diffusion of Useful Knowledge [SDUK], 1834. On the top right of the map is a note by Greenough referencing David Milne Home's 'Memoir on the Mid-Lothian and East-Lothian Coal Fields' (1839).
