Incomplete geological colouring with key and a short paragraph of notes, by George Bellas Greenough [after 1817] on base 'A New Map of Gloucestershire Divided into Hundreds', by John Cary, 1801. Greenough no.224. Scale-1:160,000, 72cm x 53cm.
Administrative History
The notes reference geological information given by William Buckland in October 1817. The map was likely used as part of the research for George Bellas Greenough's 'Geological Map of England and Wales' (1820).
