| Administrative History | Formed jointly by the Geological Society and the Earth Science Teachers' Association (ESTA) in May 1993. The aims of JESEC were:
1) To promote the common interests of the Parent Organisations in Earth Science education at all levels.
2) To work for the enhancement of quality in the national provision of Earth Science education.
3) To encourage developments that raise public awareness of Earth Science, particularly amongst young people. |
