The object of the Fund is 'the prosecution of outdoor geological research, preferentially of a palaeontological or stratigraphical character, and preferentially within the limits of the British Empire'. The Gloyne Fund Committee first met in 6 February 1922, the first award of the fund being given in 1923. |
