Administrative HistoryThe original decanters, made in 1958 by Thomas Webb & Sons, Hatton Garden, were engraved to celebrate the 2000th meeting of the Geological Society Club. By 1984 they had either been lost or broken, and Dema Glass (which had merged with Thomas Webb in 1977) was approached to manufacture replacements.
