| Administrative History | According to S M Andrews 'The discovery of fossil fishes in Scotland up to 1845', Royal Scottish Museum (1982), the majority of Robertson's drawings by Jonathan Stiven are mostly in the Agassiz Archives at Neuchatel, Switzerland. Three are held within the Society's Agassiz fish collection.
Joseph Dinkel, who is referenced in the letter, was Agassiz's main artist who was based in the Society's apartments at Somerset House. |
