DescriptionMuseum Letters & Lists: Short note on the donation of a fossil bones from County Meath, found along with iron spears, etc, by a Mr Underwood, 1839. On the reverse is written 'Rt Hon Earl of Lucan'.
Administrative HistoryThe donation may be the one referenced in the Transactions of 1841 as 'Remains of Mammalia found in the black bog of Dunshaughlin, County of Meath' given by Lord Cole on 8 January 1840.
