DescriptionSmall diary covering 27th March-9th April and 26th September-21st November 1902, and 2nd-28th July 1908.

The first 1902 portion covers a trip to Parkstone, Dorset, including excursions in the local area, while the second records the voyage to India on board the Coromandel and, following disembarkation at Calcutta (Kolkata), the beginning of Sir Lewis Leigh Fermor's first field work season in India. The second 1902 portion ends with Fermor in Harda, Madhya Pradesh. The 1908 entries cover a trip to Switzerland, leaving from Bombay (Mumbai) on board the Egypt, disembarking at Marseille, and travelling thence to Geneva, Montreux, Interlaken, and Wengen, with the diary stopping at Grindelwald.
