| Description | Sheet of ink sketches 'doodled' by Edward FORBES on 'the last evening on which he occupied the Chair of the Geological Society', [1854]. One one side of the sheet are ink sketches of three individuals in Middle Eastern dress, one with a tuban, another with a fez. On the other half are a number of Classical style profiles alongside a demonic type figure. |
