DescriptionInk and wash drawing of a microscopic section of a tooth of the fossil fish Ischyodon Townsendi, by Joseph Dinkel, [1835-1843]. According to the printed text, the specimen was found in Portland Limestone at Great Milton, near Oxford by the Reverend Townsend and was housed in the Oxford Museum of Natural History.
