DescriptionRough watercolour studies of the bones and scales of the fossil fish Lepidotus Fittoni, by unknown artist, [?1835]. One of the specimens is clearly that depicted in LDGSL/614/2/38, which was from the Museum of Practical Geology (GS 2627). On the reverse of the drawing (which is torn) it states it was a fossil from St Leonards.

Note: Andrews records the name 'Wm C Penny, London' as either artist or owner, but it is unclear where this information came from.
