DescriptionMiscellaneous loose sheets and scraps of mss notes on continental geology made by George Bellas GREENOUGH, [1812-1825]. Notably includes:

Copy of an extract of a letter from Count August Breunner to William Buckland, 22 Feb 1825, with geological sections of Austria 'from Pitten to the Wand', with description; simple mss section between Munich to Inchbruck [?Innsbruck], wmk 1825; miscellaneous scraps of bibliographic notes on Germany; nine folio sheets, torn from a notebook, comprising bibliographic references under numbered entries - Nos 152-204 - some of which have been crossed out, could perhaps relate to Greenough's map collection?
Administrative HistoryThe origin of these items is unclear, but there is a modern note indicating that some of it was removed from one of Greenough's books from his Library. The scrappy nature of some are consistent with others that are found within his notebooks.
